Resumo

Neste trabalho, relatamos a primeira observação do coral Astrangia solitaria (Le Sueur, 1817) aderido à corda de pesca de polipropileno (substrato artificial), coletado nas áreas do Sistema dos Grandes Recifes do Amazonas (GARS). Os espécimes de A. solitaria foram coletados aderidos à corda de pesca abandonada em áreas de fundo associadas ao GARS, no estado do Amapá (Norte do Brasil) (02°57'54 "N; 048°27'50,4 "W), durante as operações de pesca comercial do pargo - Lutjanus purpureus (Poey, 1866) - em maio de 2024. Observamos 226 m de corda perdida da armadilha ilegal de lagosta "caçoeira" aderida (enrolada) na armadilha de peixe chamada "manzuá", onde contabilizamos 63 colônias de A. solitaria cobrindo 12,5 cm desta corda. Essa observação pode estar associada a uma ampla gama de adaptações de invertebrados marinhos para o uso desses tipos de macroplásticos em um ambiente antropizado.
